  • An opportunity is given to each student to develop his/her problem-solving and presentation skills.
  • Taksila strives to improve the quality of education by extensive industry interface, practicing the 3-I concept (Industry-Institute-Interface). Guest lectures from industry leaders/experts in the different areas of industry are arranged to provide valuable insights into contemporary business and industrial practices.
  • Projects and assignments form an integral part of the curriculum. Several projects are identified for the student to select from.
  • Learning through seminars, workshops, and conferences encourage professional discussion among students and practicing managers.
  • Role playing gives students a chance to live the roles and practice the concepts before hand. Computerized business games simulate the real business world environment.

Corporate Exposure

The Institute has always realized the need for effective interface with industry and business and has under taken the task of strengthening the linkages with them. The industrial visits provide opportunity for the students to get on-theground feel about industry and understand the system and procedures involved in running an organization. In order to have better understanding of management, industry visits are organized for students in consultation with the concerned faculty.

Summer Training and Projects

Each student is required to undergo eight weeks summer training at leading companies by undertaking a research project of direct relevance to the concerned organizations. Subsequently, a presentation on the project and a viva-voce is conducted before a panel of experts. So this is an essential prerequisite for the award of PGDM.

Digital Edge

Today’s management practitioners must be friendly with the latest technology. All the students are provided with laptops so that they can become good techno-business managers.

Foreign Language

As the Indian economy is becoming global the need for a foreign language, besides English, is becoming important. This becomes more significant as Indian managers are in greater demand all over the world. Keeping this in view, we have decided that our students will undergo rigorous training in a foreign language.
