1. What is the difference between MBA & PGDM?
MBA is awarded by a recognized university and is approved by UGC as well as AICTE. PGDM is awarded by autonomous institutes duly approved by AICTE. A two year full time PGDM course is equivalent to MBA. One year PGDM program is not equivalent to MBA.

3. What are the requirements for admission in PGDM Program?
The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to PGDM program is at least a 3 years bachelors degree or equivalent in any discipline, recognized by the association of Indian universities/AICTE, with minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Candidates in the final year of a bachelor's degree course (or equivalent) are also eligible to apply. However, they are required to furnish proof of graduation before 30th November of the year of joining.
4. What is the admission procedure for PGDM Program?
Admission to the PGDM program is based on the candidates' performance in CAT / MAT / XAT / ATMA test score, Group Discussion, Personal Interview conducted at an all India level.
5. What is the cost of Application form & How do I get it?
The Admission form is available on the institute's website (www.taksilabusinessschool.ac.in), you can download it and take the print-out.
6. What is the fee structure of PGDM Program?
Rs. 3.59 lacs for two years including tuition fee, laptop, uniform and books. This also includes a refundable security deposit of Rs. 5000/.
7. What is your cut-off in MAT/CAT/XAT/ATMA/JMET?
50 percentile, However, we conduct day long personality profiling exercise including psychological testing, group discussion and personal interview for leveling various factors of selection standard. Based on performance in all these tests, their academic achievements and work experience, cut-off for admission is determined.

Lecture Rooms
The classrooms emanate the essence of collective & constructive learning. The air conditioned class rooms are equipped with modern aids of teaching like LCD projectors, PA Systems and other online information systems. Apart from common lecture rooms, the Institute also has three air-conditioned and spacious conference halls which are used for hosting regular guest sessions and as students amenities centers.
Computer Lab & Language LabThe computer center is equipped with latest configuration with a high speed and trouble- free internet system 24 hours a day, 7 days-a-week. The students are trained in the state-of-the art computer lab which enables them to be in touch with the latest that is in circulation in the professional world. The whole campus is WI-FI connected and keeps you connected to each other along with the world at the click of your finger.All the correspondence will be made through individual e-mails i.e. provided to each student and staff member of the institute. In language lab, audio visual CD's are also available to enhance your English Communication.
Library & Learning ResourcesThe library aims at providing the resources and environment needed to enhance your learning experience in institute. Access to IPS has been integrated with the printed and audio- visual resources to encourage students to search for information in all formats. The library also subscribes to on- line database.
To cater to the need of the students for quality study material, institute provides a range of subject books to all the students under book bank facility. Our aim is to make it as easy as possible for you to use your own library. Details of all library resources are held on a searchable database, accessible from computers, making it simple to locate the information you need; be it a map, journal article, CD, book, DVD or study pack. Our library also subscribe to a wide range of national & international journals, magazines, periodicals, newspapers and information bulletin of world repute. The students wil be proveided with the smart card which will also serve as library card as well as identity card.
The hostels serve the very purpose of cultural convergence and synergetic learning atmosphere. Spacious and well- furnished rooms with adequate furniture, provide students a perfect and hassle-free stay. The Institute is having separate hostel facility for girls and boys.

12. How can I get an education loan? Does the institute provide loan facility?
All nationalized banks and certain private banks (HDFC etc.) offer education loans, Which the student can avail to cover their academic, hostel and other expenses. Necessary paper work, support and certification is provided by Taksila Business School to facilitate you to get your loan.
13.Is the hostel accommodation compulsory?
Hostel is not compulsory for the students of Taksila Business School, but, if the student needs hostel accommodation, then the Institute will assist the student in arranging the hostel.
14. How is the teaching faculty?
The institute has a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members who are having rich experience in academia and industry. The faculty at the institute functions to bring about a right mix of theory, application along with proportionate practice which fulfills industry needs.
15.What are the placement activities?
Regular placements service has been set-up at Taksila Business School. Necessary steps are taken to facilitate students to interact with industry and business enterprises around the year.

These consultants are able to place 100% of our students at an attractive package. The Institute will take care of alumni jobs for at least next 5 years from the date of completion of PGDM from the institute.
The placement department will assist students in placing them in industry by inviting companies for conducting placement interviews.
Finally, corporate guests speakers are also invited to provide counseling for career building and help the students to develop effective managerial ability.
