Admission Procedure

The admission process is based on overall assessment of an applicant’s abilities and potential for a successful management career.

Academic Year

Taksila follows the calendar of July to June as its academic year with slight modification as and when required.

Eligibility

The aspirants must be a graduate (in any stream) from a recognized university.

Candidates appearing in the final year are also eligible provided they furnish the proof of having met the minimum eligibility criteria within 15 days from the date of publication of the result and latest before the start of first term.

The prospectus and the application form may be obtained from the Admission Office on the payment of Rs. 500/-

Documents Required for Admission

1. 10th Mark sheet and Certificate.
2. 12th Mark sheet and Certificate.
3. Graduation Mark sheet and Degree (Final Year).
4. CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA score card.
5. Four passport size photographs.

Note:The Applicant is required to carry three set of the photocopy of the document (duly attested by gazetted officer) along with the original documents at the time of admission.

Selection Process

Step1
Score of CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA will be taken as the preliminary score for admission

Step2
The applicants short listed on the basis of CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA score will be called for group discussion and personal interview. The date will be intimated to short listed students.

Step3
The candidate, if selected will be given the selection letter. The selected candidate must pay the registration amount within two weeks time, failing which the offer will be withdrawn. Note: Fee refund policy is as per the guidelines laid down by the AICTE.

Education Loan

The Admission office provides information regarding financial advice and support. There are many banks- mainly public sector banks- now offering educational loans to students pursuing higher education in Institute approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India. Repayment usually starts from one year after completing the course or six months after securing a job, whichever is earlier.

As per government rule, there is no security deposit or third party guarantee for loan under Rs 4 lakhs. Education loan can be offered from SBI/PNB/OBC etc. To apply for loan, the students must fulfill the criteria, term and conditions of the respective Bank. The institute supports the cause of students for loan.
